    Part 2. Vocabulary
diary of a wimpy kid rocgeric rules

    Part3. Background Knowledge/Text Connections.
Greg and Rogeric are brothers just like any other brthers they dont get along to well and i can connect to this because i have a younger sistter that we realy dont get along all the time but just like Greg and Rogeric we find ways of dealing with each other and this is one way i can relate to this book
greg is a simple boy that is in midle chool and he is kind of nerdy and he mainly sticks with a sertan friend and he has a big crush on a girl and he was scared of talking to her. and i can defenetly connect to his story because when i was in seventh grade i used to be just like him i was a little nerdy and i would only stick with one main friend and i used to have the biggest crush on a girl and i sed to be scared of talking to her. these where the reasons why i can conect this character.

    Part 4. Inferring/Conclusion
Partwhat i think aboute Greg and Rogeric is that they both like spending time with
each other even is they have many diffrences and i guess that both feel better aboute each other now that there spending time with each other and greg is learning many things about Rogeric and i think that by the end of the book they are going to be better with each other now that both of them know what what each other is thinking and what he feels.
I think that Rogeric is a good brother is a good brother but he has a bit of temper and gets mad for alot of things but he also has a good sence of humor and he is a bit of a reble towards his parents and he is always been a trouble maker and this is the problem that there mom has she thinks that greg would turn out like him and she dosent want that to happen and rogeric is miss uderstoud because of the way he is and because of what he likes and all the loud music.
    Part
    5. Questioning/ Questioning
    rogeric
what is the main reason why you are mean to your younger brother Greg?
the mainreason that rogericis mean to his brother is not that he doesnt like him is that he just likes messing with him alot because he is younger than him and he is in a way weaker than him so he cant really hit him or attack him and because he likes messing with him so his parents would get mad and anoide.
why is being in a band so important you?
being in a band is important to him because his dream is being in a rock band that he start it and he also wants to be famuse and be sucessful in a carier that he likes and that he wants to do all his life.

    Part 6. Predicting
Greg is a good kid but he would probably he wouldnt get influenced by his older brother rogeric and turn in to a trouble kid but he would become more mature at the end of the book he is already a little mature but he will mature a lot more that he understands what he is expected to act in the feture.
Greg is going to enjoy his child hood and not rush anything becuse he knows that what is waiting for him in his older years and he wants to enjoy his life so far and make the best he can out of it and deal with any problem that comes up.

    6. What school subjects, other than math, would be important to a roller coaster designer? Why?
Another subject other than math would be computer skills because roller coaster designers need to know how to use a computer to come up with good design and so they can consider good safety factors and this is another subject that can be useful for a roller coaster designer.

12 Angry Men” is about a boy who is on trial for his life and a groupe of jurrors have to deside if the boy is gilty or inocent. Of Mice and Men is aboute two guys named gorge and Lonnie are in their way to try and accomplish their dreaming of owning a farm. The quote right thing to do is not always the easy thing to do this quote is compared in the both book of mice and men by john Steinbeck 12 angry men by regional rose. The reasons are that juror #3 and all the others voted gilty but juror #8 was the only one that voted not gilty it was hard but it was the right thing to do but in the case of juror #7 he just wanted to get it over with. It’s not easy to do the right thing for example juror #8 was the only one that brought up all the evidence when the other jurors didn’t wanted to see it because they already had a verdict and the where going to find him gilty. One thing he brought up was that the witness couldn’t have gotten to the door as quick as he said because he was old and he walked on two canes and it had took him longer and also the witness couldn’t have heard the boy say I’m going to kill you because the train was going by. and he tried and tried till he convinced different jurors into changing their opinion into believing that the boy is not guilty but that wasn’t all he also proofed that the woman across the train tracks couldn’t heaved seen the murder because she needed glasses and the train was passing by because juror #8 decided to do all of that instead of taking the easy way out and voted gilty but he choose to fight for the right thing and because #8 vale tiered to demonstrative how the father got stabbed with the knave in the chest he could of said no but he choose to do it and he didn’t care that he could get hurt all he wanted to prove his point and to prove that the boy is not gilty and that proves that it’s not easy to the right thing to do the easy way out is not the right thing to do all the time for example from the story 12 angry men the juror #7 just wanted to get out from there because he had a baseball game to go to and he just voted gilty so he could get it over with and he did not care what was going to happen to the boy all he cared aboute was his baseball game he had bought the tickets for and also when juror #8 said he wanted to give the boy a chance so they could talk aboute it and juror #7 got mad because he was complaining that he was going to be late for his game and when he said that juror #11 got mad because he was American and he didn’t take it series and the juror 11 wasn’t American he cares more aboute a human life more than the other juror #7. Another example is that juror #3 was trying to get back for with his son but he is getting back at the wrong person and he doesn’t care if the boy is getting killed because he is holding a really big gruel agents his son and that gruel doesn’t lets him see what is going to happen to the poor boy in the book of mice and men gore and Lonnie where like brothers gorge took care of Lonnie and gorge always tried to keep him out of trouble but no matter what gorge would do Lonnie always found a way to get in to trouble. but when gorge killed Lonnie it was the right thing to do because Lonnie was causing many problems and gorge had to kill Lonnie because levy was his responsibility and it was hard for gorge because Lonnie was like his little brother and he got attached to him and gorge didn’t want to kill him but he had no choice because he wanted to kill Lonnie fast and painless because if he didn’t do it the other guys were going to kill him with pain and in a heartless way and like candy didn’t kill his own dog it was the right thing to do but it wasn’t easy for candy because he had that dog from when it was a puppy and it is like when a mother gives bath and then she loses that baby the same thing felt candy when Carson killed the dogthe book of mice and men when Lonnie killed curls wife it was easy for curly to stand there and just look at her instead of going to her and holding her had or something he just stud there just saw her and all he said he was going to kill Lonnie and it wasn’t the right thing to do was

men are coming she leaves g comes in his upset that they were talking about the dream and crooks loses his hope of being part of the dream and goes back to where he left of levy kills his puppy and it and he thinks levy has it slim tries to get curly to stay but he refuses because he wants to shoot levy he makes gorge to with them to prove that gorge is innocentclimax: author writes the setting like in the beginning he is ending the book like he started levy comes up and starts to drink water like in the beginning levy start talking about g is going to be mad heist going to live in a cave levy imagines his aunt Clara and has an argument the same argument he had with gorge he images the rabbit and rabbit tells levy gorge is going to leave him after he beats him levy cries out for gorge and gorge comes he sits next to Lonnie said he did a bad thing and gorge doesn’t get upset in the distance you can hear the men coming g and l are arguing the argument from the beginning and gorge is calm because he knows what is going to happen and blenny asked him to talk about the dream the men are getting closer gorge tells levy to take of his hat and then to look away from gorge across the river gorge takes out car sons gun gorge was looking at lenis neck where Carson said he was going to shoot the dog so it won’t hurt gorge tells levy that he is going to have his dream and he is going to have in his dream there’s not going to be no more trouble and no more trouble and the man are getting closer gorge shoots levy and penny laid without shaking which means levy is at peace _end: resolution_ the men show up slim tells gorge tells gorge you had to do it because it was the right thing to do and then he offers him drink because he understandsthe right thing to do isn’t always the easy like in the book OF MICE AND MEN the same thing happens as in the book the right thing to do is not always the easy in this case when Carson killed candy’s dog it wasn’t easy for candy because candy raised him from puppy and as the puppy grew the more attached candy became to the puppy and like when a mom gives birth to a baby it is hard to lose their child so that’s the same way candy felt for his dog another detail that shows it was hard for him was that when candy heard the gun shots he faced the wall and also when Carson was telling candy to kill the dog candy just looked around for help because he didn’t want to kill the dogand it was the right thing to do because the dog couldn’t walk ,eat and it smelled really bad plus it was effecting the other people that lived in the bunk house because the men work up to 12 hours a day and after a long day of work all the men wanted to do was rest for the next day to get up early in the morning and do the same thing over and over again but the stick wouldn’t let them restIn the case of levy and gorge the right thing to to-do was also hard for gorge because gorge almost killed lenis when he told him to jump of the bridge and that’s why gorge feels that he owes him for that incident ,mThe main conflict of the story isOne example of internal conflict is _One example of external conflict isThe climax, or point at which the conflict Its not easy to do the rigth thing for exaple juro #8 was tghe only one that felt that he needed to talk at least they should talk aboute it but none of the other jurors wanted to talk aboute it because they already had a verdict and the where going to find him gilty. And its not easy to do the right thing because #8 was the only one that said that the boy is notgilty and it took alot of guts and pride to stand up and try to prove that he is is not gilty and he tryed and tryed till he convinced diffrent jurors into changing there opinion into beliving that the boy is notgilty and it wasnt easy because #8 had to stand up agenst 11 jurors when he could of taken the easy way out and voted gilty but he choose to fight for the right thing and because #8 valetiered to demostrtaite how the father got stabed with the knive in the chest he could of said no but he choose to do it and he didnt care that he could get hurt all he wanted to prove his point and to prove that the boy is not gilty and that proves that its not easy to the the right thing to do (WHERE ARE YOUR DETAILS FROM THE TEXT?)
the easy way out is not the the right thing to do all the time for example from the story 12 angry men the juror #7 just wanted to get out from there because he had a baseball game to go to and he just voted gilty so he could get it over with and he did nt care what was going to happen to the boy all he cared aboute was his baseball game he had boght the tikets for and also when juror #8 said he wanted to give the boy a chance so they could talk aboute it and juror #7 got mad because he was complaining that he was going to be late for his game and when he said that juror # 11 got mad because he was american and he didnt take it serius and the juror 11 wasnt american he cares more aboute a heuman life more than the other juror #7. Another example is that juror #3 was trying to get back for with his son but he is geting back at the wrong person and he doesnt care if the boy is getting killed because he is holding a realy big gruje agenst his son and that gruje doesnt lets him see what is going to happen to the poor boy (NOT FINISHED...
in the book of mice and men gore and lennie where like brothers gorge took care of lennie and gorge always tried to keep him out of trouble but no matter what gorge would do lennie always found a way to get in to trouble. but when gorge killed lennie it was the right thing to do because lennie was causing many problems and gorge had to kill lennie because leny was his responsability and itwas hard for gorge because lennie was like his little brother and he got atatched to him and gorge didnt want to kill him but he had no choice because he wanted to kill lennie fast and painless because if he didnt do it the other guys where going to kill him with pain and in a heartles way ancd like cqandy didnt kill his own dog it was the right thing to do but it wasnt easy for candy because he had that dog from when it was a puppy and it is like when a mother gives bith and then she loses that baby the same thing felt candy when carson killed the dog

Main idea is clear, supported, and enriched by relevant anecdotes and details
    Organization
Hard to follow; needs much re-ordering
Some out of place information; attempt at structure
Order works well with topic and purpose; strong leads, thoughtful transitions
Thoughtful structure; well-crafted transitions; unforgettable opening
    Word Choice
Flat language or thesaurus overload; author searches for words to convey meaning
Impaired meaning but now and then a “juicy” phrase or some “salsa” (Missing at least one strong very, quality adjective or “ly” word per paragraph)

Skims, sings, dances along like a lively script; easy to read with inflection (Many different sentence openers and excellent transitions)
    Voice
Author is incapable of personalizing at this stage due to struggling with idea
Author’s voice is hard to recognize, even if reader is trying desperately to “hear” it
Author attempts to address topic, purpose, and audience in sincere and engaging way; piece still skips a beat here and there
Author speaks directly to reader in individual, compelling, and engaging way that delivers purpose and topic; although passionate, author is respectful or audience and purpose
    Conventions
Noticeable, frequent, distracting errors; line-by-line editing
Noticeable, distracting errors that may affect meaning

12 Angry Men” is about a boy who is on trial for his life and a group of jurors have to decide if the boy is guilty or innocent. Of Mice and Men is about two guys named gorge and Lonnie are in their way to try and accomplish their dreaming of owning a farm. The quote right thing to do is not always the easy thing to do this quote is compared in the both book of mice and men by john Steinbeck 12 angry men by regional rose. The reasons are that juror #3 and all the others voted guilty but juror #8 was the only one that voted not guilty it was hard but it was the right thing to do but in the case of juror #7 he just wanted to get it over with. It’s not easy to do the right thing for example juror #8 was the only one that brought up all the evidence when the other jurors didn’t wanted to see it because they already had a verdict and the where going to find him guilty. One thing he brought up was that the witness couldn’t have gotten to the door as quick as he said because he was old and he walked on two canes and it had took him longer and also the witness couldn’t have heard the boy say I’m going to kill you because the train was going by. and he tried and tried till he convinced different jurors into changing their opinion into believing that the boy is not guilty but that wasn’t all he also proofed that the woman across the train tracks couldn’t heaved seen the murder because she needed glasses and the train was passing by because juror #8 decided to do all of that instead of taking the easy way out and voted guilty but he choose to fight for the right thing and because #8 vale tiered to demonstrative how the father got stabbed with the knave in the chest he could of said no but he choose to do it and he didn’t care that he could get hurt all he wanted to prove his point and to prove that the boy is not guilty and that proves that it’s not easy to the right thing to dothe easy way out is not the right thing to do all the time for example from the story 12 angry men the juror #7 just wanted to get out from there because he had a baseball game to go to and he just voted guilty so he could get it over with and he did not care what was going to happen to the boy all he cared about was his baseball game he had bought the tickets for and also when juror #8 said he wanted to give the boy a chance so they could talk about it and juror #7 got mad because he was complaining that he was going to be late for his game and when he said that juror #11 got mad because he was American and he didn’t take it series and the juror 11 wasn’t American he cares more about a human life more than the other juror #7. Another example is that juror #3 was trying to get back for with his son but he is getting back at the wrong person and he doesn’t care if the boy is getting killed because he is holding a really big gruel agents his son and that gruel doesn’t lets him see what is going to happen to the poor boy in the book of mice and men gore and Lonnie where like brothers gorge took care of Lonnie and gorge always tried to keep him out of trouble but no matter what gorge would do Lonnie always found a way to get in to trouble. but when gorge killed Lonnie it was the right thing to do because Lonnie was causing many problems and gorge had to kill Lonnie because levy was his responsibility and it was hard for gorge because Lonnie was like his little brother and he got attached to him and gorge didn’t want to kill him but he had no choice because he wanted to kill Lonnie fast and painless because if he didn’t do it the other guys were going to kill him with pain and in a heartless way and like candy didn’t kill his own dog it was the right thing to do but it wasn’t easy for candy because he had that dog from when it was a puppy and it is like when a mother gives bath and then she loses that baby the same thing felt candy when Carson killed the dog the book of mice and men when Lonnie killed curls wife it was easy for curly to stand there and just look at her instead of going to her and holding her had or something he just stud there just saw her and all he said he was going to kill Lonnie and it wasn’t the right thing to do was

cows and never send the letter like he promised and merited curly cow lets levy touch her hair she pulls away levy grabs on and doesn’t lets go he covers her mouth, shakes her head and snaps her neck levy takes the puppy leaves and goes back to the river gorge and candy asked can they buy their land gorge give up on his dream and going to work and waist his money gorge comes up with a plan that he goes back to the bunk house about curls wife and gorge is going to pretend he didn’t kno0w about the guys come in and find cow slim goes over to her curly should have slim asked gorge where levy went gorge tells him south beach use they came from the north Carson loses his gun and he thinks levy has it slim tries to get curly to stay but he refuses because he wants to shoot levy he makes gorge to levy start talking about g is going to be mad heist going to live in a cave levy imagines his aunt Clara and has an argument the same argument he had with gorge he images the rabbit and rabbit tells levy gorge is going to leave him after he beats him levy cries out for gorge and gorge comes he sits next to Lonnie said he did a bad thing and gorge doesn’t get upset in the distance you can hear the men coming g and l are arguing the argument from the beginning and gorge is calm because he knows what is going to happen and blenny asked him to talk about the dream the men are getting closer gorge tells levy to take of his hat and then to look away from gorge across the river gorge takes out car sons gun gorge was looking at lenis neck where Carson said he was going to shoot the dog so it won’t hurt gorge tells levy that he is going to have his dream and he is going to have in his dream there’s not going to be no more trouble and no more trouble and the man are getting closer gorge shoots levy and penny laid without shaking which means levy is at peace _end: resolution_ the men show up slim tells gorge tells gorge you had to do it because it was the right thing to do and then he offers him drink because he understands the right thing to do isn’t always the easy like in the book OF MICE AND MEN the same thing happens as in the book the right thing to do is not always the easy in this case when Carson killed candy’s dog it wasn’t easy for candy because candy raised him from puppy and as the puppy grew the more attached candy became to the puppy and like when a mom gives birth to a baby it is hard to lose their child so that’s the same way candy felt for his dog another detail that shows it was hard for him was that when candy heard the gun shots he faced the wall and also when Carson was telling candy to kill the dog candy just looked around for help because he didn’t want to kill the dog and it was the right thing to do because the dog couldn’t walk ,eat and it smelled really bad plus it was effecting the other people that lived in the bunk house because the men work up to 12 hours a day and after a long day of work all the men wanted to do was rest for the next day to get up early in the morning and do the same thing over and over again but the stick wouldn’t let them resting the case of levy and gorge the right thing to to-do was also hard for gorge because gorge almost killed lenis when he told him to jump of the bridge and that’s why gorge feels that he owes him for that incident ,the main conflict of the story is One example of internal conflict is and find cow slim goes over to her curly should have slim asked gorge where levy went gorge tells him south beach use they came from the north Carson loses his gun and he thinks levy has it slim tries to get curly to stay but he refuses because he wants to shoot levy he makes gorge to with them to prove that gorge is innocent climax: author writes the setting like in the beginning he is ending the book like he started levy comes up and starts to drink water like in the beginning levy start talking about g is going to be mad heist going to live in a cave levy imagines his aunt Clara and has an argument the same argument he had with gorge he images the rabbit and rabbit tells levy gorge is going to leave him after he beats him levy cries out for gorge and gorge comes he sits next to Lennie said he did a bad thing and gorge doesn’t get upset in the distance you can hear the men coming g and l are arguing the argument from the beginning and gorge is calm because he knows what is going to happen and blenny asked him to talk about the dream the men are getting closer gorge tells levy to take of his hat and then to look away from gorge across the river gorge takes out car sons gun gorge was looking at lenis neck where Carson said he was going to shoot the dog so it won’t hurt gorge tells levy that he is going to have his dream and he is going to have in his dream there’s not going to be no more trouble and no more trouble and the man are getting closer gorge shoots levy and Lennie laid without shaking which means levy is at peace _ end: resolution_ the men show up slim tells gorge tells gorge you had to do it because it was the right thing to do and then he offers him drink because he understands the right thing to do isn’t always the easy like in the book OF MICE AND MEN the same thing happens as in the book the right thing to do is not always the easy in this case when Carson killed candy’s dog it wasn’t easy for candy because candy raised him from puppy and as the puppy grew the more attached candy became to the puppy and like when a mom gives birth to a baby it is hard to lose their child so that’s the same way candy felt for his dog another detail that shows it was hard for him was that when candy heard the gun shots he faced the wall and also when Carson was telling candy to kill the dog candy just looked around for help because he didn’t want to kill the dog and it was the right thing to do because the dog couldn’t walk ,eat and it smelled really bad plus it was effecting the other people that lived in the bunk house because the men work up to 12 hours a day and after a long day of work all the men wanted to do was rest for the next day to get up early in the morning and do the same thing over and over again but the stick wouldn’t let them rest In the case of levy and gorge the right thing to to-do was also hard for gorge because gorge almost killed Lennie when he told him to jump of the bridge and that’s why gorge feels that he owes him for that incident ,m
took out a graph and proof that the man couldn’t walk to the door proofed that the man couldn’t hear the boy say imp going to kill you found a knife that was similar when the owner of the store said it was one of a kind

If I can meet anyone I would want to meet Abraham Lincoln, he is my favorite U.S. president because he abolished slavery. I will be explaining what I would be conversing with him about, and what he would teachme, he was a leader with great courage.

Another subject other than math would be computer skills because roller coaster designers need to know how to use a computer to come up with good design and so they can consider good safety factors and this is another subject that can be useful for a roller coaster designer.

I would like to meet Abraham Lincoln because he is my favorite president and because he was courageous. Abraham Lincoln was an honest man and people used to call him honest Abe. His main accomplishment was the abolition of slavery. This was a good idea because without this law people would still be slaves. I admire Lincoln because without his bravery nothing of what we have now would have been possible.

What would I ask and talk to him about would be would be how was his child hood growing up? I guess he would share with me that it was good, except for the fact that his parents died and he became an orphan at an early age. I would also ask him would be, what where your reasons behind the abolition of slavery? He might tell me be that everyone should be treated equal and that no one should be discriminated based on the color of their skin. Another question would be that if he still had the chance to do another great thing what would it be? He would probably tell me that he would help the economy get better by getting people good paying jobs, better housing, good health care and education to help keep kids in school and prevent kids from dropping out before graduating.
He would teach me how our government works and how I’m affected as a citizen by the laws passed by our government. I need to know how our legal system works so I can take responsibility to be a good citizen. What kind of future am I going to have if I don’t know anything about the government? I would ask him about us laws and how they work, like voting for a law or a bill how is it done to pass law? How was the white house built? It would be interesting to get information from his perspective about what lead him to abolish slavery, even though it wasn’t a popular decision at that time in history. Also I would like to know what his childhood was like. What kind of choices he had to make about his education? What was his favorite subject and what did he study? Did he have to go college to become president? If he had any choices. Did he have brothers or sisters? Did he get married? Did he have children? How did being a politician affect his family? I would like to learn from him what or who inspired him to become a politician?
Abraham Lincoln inspired me to write about him because he is my favorite president and he abolished slavery, and that took a lot of courage because many people disagreed with him and it cost him his life.
